Nina put on a smile, and she was a gifted actress so it actually lasted for a few moments, especially when Greta offered her tea.
"Just who I was hoping to see," she said, trying to sound like her effusive self. But as she stepped inside, the smile faltered. "I ah-- I was hoping you might have some time to talk. I wouldn't be taking you away from anything terribly pressing, would I?"
It didn't sound like Saoirse or Thomas were home, but she wanted to be sure she wasn't stepping on toes. Maybe Greta wanted a nice, quiet afternoon to herself.
