a night at Kagura

It wasn't hard for Nina to find someone willing to take Katya - a lot of people love the little girl and Nina trusts most of them to watch after her for a night. Spending time alone with Tommy isn't a hardship, either. They've come out of their rough patch and while not all things are mended, they are better.
Sometimes she thinks she's been too hard on him, but Nina isn't interested in playing games, nor does she plan to let someone tow her along with no direction in mind. If Tommy just wanted some fun, he could have it. If he wanted more, he'd have to do a bit of work.
But she likes nights like this.
Nina stretches lazily and rolls over until she can rest her head against Tommy's shoulder. The bed is bigger than the one she has at home.
"Well, your devious plan worked," she teases. "You'll have me all night and into the morning."
