Nina leaned a bit into Greta, welcoming her touch. "I don't know, that sounds like the worst time to catch someone. What if you wanted to have a long, hot soak in the tub?"
She smiled, though, and gave Greta a gentle bump before following her into the kitchen to help get tea sorted.
Out on the porch, she settled and cradled her mug close. She didn't answer Greta's question right away, trying to find the words. Then they just came out.
