Because while it might all be the truth, it's a truth she already knows and she doesn't need to keep hearing it, as if that's going to somehow make it true now. That sure as fuck isn't how grief works and Sweeney, for all his bullshit and bluster, isn't ever going to force someone to feel a way they don't feel.
