Nina didn't know what to do. Inej was busy, and Nina couldn't bring herself to go to the Crow Club and say anything in front of Kaz. And, maybe, some part of her was almost afraid of how her best friend might react. Inej hadn't exactly had a good opinion of Geralt less than a year ago, and though by the fall things had seemed better between them, she just--

Greta bustles over to the door and opens it, smiling to see Nina on the stoop. "Nina, hello," she says cheerily, before she can take full note of the look on the girl's face. Her expression shifts a little, brow furrowing in concern, but she doesn't start hurling questions. Instead, she steps back to usher her in.
"I was just about to have some tea out on the deck," she says. "Care to join me?"
